Following her imaginary plots and characters, she set herself onto a crazy journey and began writing the novels from her heart. Cole says that she took that advice of her husband for the first time in the 11 years of their marriage. After several months of repeating the same lines again and again her husband got fed up and scolded her to stop talking and start writing. After that, she got married and settled as a housewife.Ĭole had the habit of reading books regularly and after she finished reading her 1000th book, she showed her urge to write a story of her own to her husband. She continued to enjoy the Geordie way of life of Newcastle for 7 more years.
Because of deep touch with the state of Newcastle, she regards it as a home away from her home. Two years later, Cole returned to the university once again for earning her post-graduate certificate for teaching social studies at the high school level.
She enrolled herself at the Newcastle University and complete her college studies with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in the subject of Religious Studies. After having been born and raised in Teesside, Cole moved a distance of 40 miles towards the north to Newcastle, at the age of 19. One of her love for the freshly made Yorkshire Puddings and HP sauce, and the other one of her frightening and foul-mouthed episodes of extreme rage and the much liked dirty jokes that she cracks all the time. Being born a mixture of the English and Scottish races, Cole likes to embrace the cultures of both the descent. She also had a sarcastic sister who also grew up with her and a number of rescue horses and animals. As a child, she grew up surrounded by the mother, who was a farmer’s daughter and liked to cultivate English roses, and her crazy but loving father of the Scottish descent.
Cole has written a number of successful novel series’ in her writing, the most famous of which are the Hades Hangmen series and the Sweet Home series. She hails from the northern region of The United Kingdom, basically Teesside. Tillie Cole is a USA Today and Amazon bestselling author of the romance, chick-lit, and young adult genres.
